"The Crown's Grand Finale: What to Expect in Season 6"

Netflix is releasing the sixth and final season of "The Crown" in two parts this fall.

The series will explore the future of the British monarchy and the lives of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The show's cast changes every two seasons to reflect the characters aging through the decades.

Season 6 will cover events from 1997 to 2005.

The first four episodes of Part 1 will focus on the relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi before the fatal car crash.

The final season will depict a young Prince William returning to Eton following his mother's death.

It will also explore the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Prince Charles and Camilla.

New actors will portray Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton in Part 2.

Netflix extended the series to a sixth season after initially planning for five.

Creator Peter Morgan explained that the decision was made to do justice to the story's richness and complexity.
